Slovenia is pretty small which means you should be able to see quite few places by your car, by rental car, by bus or train. So it is perfect for road trips.

Here we prepare some must see destinations you can not miss when you are here.














OJSTRICA
The climb to Ojstrica takes about 20 minutes, it is short but steep, and will award you with an exceptional view from the top. There is a bench at the top, offering a romantic panoramic view of Lake Bled.







RENT E-BIKE
Your ebike tour will take you through Ribno, Selo, Mlino, Zasip and Podhom villages and around the lake Bled.








VISIT THE BLED ISLAND
Go with traditional Pletna boat or just rent a kajak, boat or supto visit spectacular mini island and church on it. Great experiance.








EXPLORE VINTGAR GORGE
Vintgar Gorge is one of the most magical places to visit in Slovenia. For 1,6km, boardwalks crisscross their way along the Radovna River, creating an enchanting landscape that is very photogenic and fun to explore.








SUMMER TOBOGGANING
If you would like to spice up your visit of Bled with a touch of adrenaline, than you must visit Straža in summer. From spring to autumn you can take a ride on the sledding track with THE view it is situated on the ski slope along the chair lift.

BLED CASTLE
Discover the oldest castle in Sloveina and enjoy in the fearured historical artefascts. There is a museum in the upper courtyard, where you can delve deep into the distant past of Lake Bled, from early exavations ant the castle to the individual steps of its historical development.








BLED CREAM CAKE
The last but not least...Stir up your senses by teasting the delicious dessert that makes your visit in Bled complete. There is only one original Bled cream cake.






LJUBLJANA
Ljubljana is Slovenias capital city. It is colourful, it is lively, it is compact, and there are more dragons here than musemums. This is the kind of city where it is just fun to explore without a long list of thing to do.

TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK
One of the best things to do in Slovenia is hiking. Amazing hike is from Vrsic Pass to Slemenova spica. From there are amazing views to Italy, Austria and the Julian Alps.







BOHINJ and SLAP SAVICA
Bohinj is a jaw dropping! Rent a sup and explore Lake Bled on water. Then go to Slap Svica which is one of Slovenias most spectacular waterfalls. It is the third most visited attraction.






SLOVENE COAST
First stop Koper - the capital of slovenian coast, then go on to Portorose with long beach and bars on it (great night life), then go by your feet to charming Piran with a lot of hidden corners.








POSTOJNA CAVE
This is the second longest cave in the world, with around 20km of underground corridors. A 90-minute guided tour takes visitors through caverns, halls, and passages that were carved by the Pivka River.








WELLNESS ORHIDELIA
Terme Olimia is located in the small town of Podcetrtek, in the east of Slovenia. It is the largest wellness center in Slovenia.
Visti the adults-only Wellness Center Orhidelia. A very chic complex with great spa-faxilities and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.






WINE TASTING IN BRDA
Nestled right up against the Italian border, Goriska Brda is one of Slovenias finest wine regions. A backdrop if rolling hills and farmhouses that looked every bit as beautiful as Tuscany.







SALINA NATURE PARK
One of the few places in the world where sea salt is still produced by using a centuries-old method. When go to Secovlje visitors can observe salt being haversted manually by locals workers.
For those who wish to pamper themselves, Lepa Vida Thalasso Spa offers massages and baths where the healing powers of the sea salt are used.







SOCA RIVER VALLEY....and Tolmin Gorge
It is best to combine this two visits together. The Solkan Bridges are great place to view the turquoise Soca River and the beautiful Soca Valley.
At Vintgar Gorge walk along the crystal clear Tolminka River, potograph the moss-coverted canyons, and walk on a suspension bridge high above the Gorge.

LJUBLJANA CASTLE
There are many wonderful things at the peak of the city. Discover the many architectual and historical monument on the Castle Hill, which you will be led to along pleasant walking trails.

Perfect bridges, and area, for a casual romatic stroll through the old town.








CENTRAL MARKET
This is an excellent market. It is full of local farmers. Fresh vegetavles, fruits, cheese etc.
It is a must try and go.

KRANJSKA GORA
A great location for beginners and intermediates in particular to learn to ski.
There is a picture perfect market in the centre and plenty of places to eat, including opportunities to try out some of the local dumplings and harty Slovenian stews.
Lake Jasna is so near so it is also must see destination when you are in Kranjska Gora.



PLANICA NORDIC CENTRE
Planica is home to the biggest ski jumping hill in the world. For over twenty years it has hosted one of the most important ski jumping competitions in the world.
Aside from ski jumps the center also feaures an athletics stadium, a zipline, a wind tunnel, cycling and walking paths, and a visitors center.
In winter there are great cross-county skiing paths and if you go by foot with sledge from Planica to Tamar you have unique adventure and in Tamar great meal.



VOGEL
Take the cable car up to Vogel mountain. In winter time you can go skiing at Vogel. On a clear day you are in for a treat as views from up there are spectacular! You can admire Lake Bohinj and the surrounding area with high peaks of the most beautiful mountains in Slovenia!






NIGHT SLEDDING - Velika Planina
Well prepared and illuminated sledding trail. Cable car takes the sledding fans up on the mountain. You can also rent a sledge, but do not to forget to make a reservation.
At day there are great views of the surroundings.
